Eligible certificates carry a money-back window. If you qualify, we refund the eligible amount (usually the full amount) via a credit note, subject to our refund policy and the CA's cancellation window.
What's covered
Whether a certificate qualifies depends on the money-back window for that product and on whether the CA still allows it to be cancelled. Some products and add-ons can't be cancelled with the CA; the refund policy lists the window and the exclusions, so it's worth a quick read before you buy.
How to request a refund
Open a support ticket with your order number and a line on why you'd like a refund. If approved, we refund the eligible amount (usually the full amount) and issue a credit note against your invoice. The certificate is cancelled with the CA and stops working.
If it's a problem we can fix
Often a refund isn't what you actually need. If the certificate doesn't cover the right domains, a free reissue may fix it; if you're seeing browser errors, they're usually an install issue we can help resolve. Tell us the goal in your ticket and we'll point you at the fastest route. A reissue doesn't restart the money-back window.
Common questions
What happens to my certificate?
It's cancelled with the CA and stops working, so replace it before your site relies on it.
Does a reissue extend the money-back window?
No. Eligibility follows the original purchase.
Can every product be refunded?
No. Some products and add-ons can't be cancelled with the CA. The refund policy lists them.
