Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Foxelpie India Pvt Ltd ("we", "us") handles your information across our stores at sslstore.in, buyssl.in, sslstores.com and sslstore.eu. This is a draft for review by our legal advisers.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide to place an order and obtain a certificate - such as your name, email, phone, company, billing address, GSTIN (if provided) and validation contacts - along with certificate request data (for example the domain and CSR) and technical data needed to process payments and issue certificates. If you apply for SEZ zero-rating, we also collect the SEZ / Letter-of-Approval details and the approval document you upload.

When you contact us through the contact form or the website chat, we keep your messages, the details you choose to give us (such as name, email, phone and company), the store you contacted and your IP address.

How we use it

We use your information to process orders and payments, issue and manage certificates with the Certificate Authority, raise GST invoices and credit notes, answer your enquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Website chat and AI assistance

Our website chat is answered first by an AI assistant. To reply, your chat messages - and, if you are signed in, the details of your own orders needed to answer your question - are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to generate a response. We also use AI to help our team triage and draft replies to support requests. You can ask for a person at any time in the chat. Please do not share card numbers, passwords or other secrets in the chat; card numbers are removed automatically before a message is stored or processed.

If you tick "Remember me on this device" in the chat, we set a cookie so you don't have to enter your contact details again. You can choose "Not me" in the chat to clear it.

Quotations

When we email you a quotation, we record when the online quote link is opened (the date and number of times) so we can follow up at the right time. We may send you one reminder before the quotation expires. Opening the PDF attached to the email is not tracked.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum information necessary with: the relevant Certificate Authority (through our certificate provider) to validate and issue your certificate; our payment gateways (Razorpay and Cashfree) to process payments and refunds; our email provider (Amazon Web Services) to send you transactional messages; our AI provider (Anthropic) for the website chat and support assistance described above; and, only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics. Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information: integration secrets are stored encrypted, sensitive documents such as SEZ approvals are stored with restricted access, links that give access to your account, quotes or conversations are one-time or time-limited, and full card details are handled by our payment providers and are never stored on our servers.

Data retention

We keep invoices, credit notes and related records for as long as required under applicable tax and company law. Contact-form messages and website chats are deleted after 12 months, and the IP address stored with them is cleared after 30 days. Other personal data is kept only for as long as needed for the purposes described above.

Cookies

We use these cookies:

• Essential - keep you signed in, protect forms against misuse and remember your cart. Needed for the site to work.
• Keep me signed in - only if you tick it when signing in; lasts 7 days.
• Chat "Remember me on this device" - only if you tick it in the chat; lasts 180 days and is sent only with chat requests.
• Cookie choice - remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics; lasts 12 months.
• Analytics (Google Analytics) - only after you accept them in the cookie banner. We use them to understand how the site is used; IP addresses are anonymised, advertising features are switched off, and secret links (such as password, payment or quote links) are removed before anything is sent.

We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites. To change your analytics choice, clear this site's cookies in your browser and choose again in the banner.

Your choices

You may contact us to access, correct or delete your information, to withdraw a consent you have given, or to object to how we use it, subject to records we must retain for legal and tax purposes.
